For KOA Holiday Asheville East: I stayed in a patio site, it was expensive but very nice. There is at site trash pick up and free internet. The Verizon signal was also good. Yes, the train is close. It’s a bit away from town but could still get food delivery from quite a few places. The weekend I was there was the first weekend of having a coffee shop trailer. They said they would be feeling out if there was enough demand to have the coffee shop open every morning of the week.

For KOA Holiday Asheville East: This is a well maintained campground nice staff in great location, great WiFi and cable. However site are close together, gravel, road noise, train comes by at night and blows horn, not big rig friendly.

For KOA Holiday Asheville East: Facilities are clean and well attended. Nice creek find though the park. This is like camping in a parking lot. I am spoiled by state and national parks. Good location close to Ashville, but I won't stay here again.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.

For KOA Holiday Asheville East: Friendly staff. Situated among a small river, with small rapids, and lakes. Very kid friendly. Easy to navigate in 30’ Class A. Bit pricey at $60.

1-I’ve stayed at KOA’s across up and down the east coast and this is by far the dirtiest and least kept I’ve ever seen.
2-Sites had no gravel, all mud.
3-This is trailer park camping at its finest. I saw many campers so close together their awnings wouldn’t extend.
I am in no way bashing this Campground. Just trying to give a realistic account of what you’ll expect if you stay here.

For KOA Holiday Asheville East: Very nice KOA - many of the sites are on water - either creek or small lakes. The bath house in the center is new and five star. Seems well managed. Sites are fairly close together.
Easy access to Asheville
