For Buffalo Gap Campground: Great campground, large private sites. Beautiful. Flushing toilets were closed, put toilets at entrance to use. Water in the camp ground. If traveling with a dog- HIGH tick alert!!!

For Buffalo Gap Campground: This place is awesome! Sites are spaced apart enough so you have some privacy and the pads are level and solid. It is right off I94 so you can hear traffic on that side of the campground but it is not bad at all. We were told there was no cell service but we did have some cell service through our booster on the interstate side of the park. The sites have no amenities but you can get potable water at spigots, there are nice bath houses, and there is a dump station! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!!

For Buffalo Gap Campground: Great spot just off I94. Some spots have shade. The loop that the host is in is set back from the freeway a bit more so it’s quieter. There is now a trailer dump and the host had a hose to fill water tanks. On July 2 it was around 1/4 full.

For Buffalo Gap Campground: Picturesque site close to I 94. Although close to freeway very little road noise. Many trees providing shade. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. No hookups. Limited ATT cell service. Pressurized drinking water. We were thankful for this lovely spot because there was availability while neighboring state park and national park were full. $20, $10 with pass.

Christina Auer
For Buffalo Gap Campground: A great primitive campground right off 94 close to National park. $20 no hook ups but sites are large, private and beautiful. You can hear road noise but we didn’t think it was bad. We were in the mandan loop site 15 further from 94 with trees for shade in our 24 fr travel trailer. There are showers, potable water and a dump. The Buffalo Gap trail goes from campground and is a pretty loop through the grasslands.

For Buffalo Gap Campground: Nice, large sites. Get there early to snag a shaded site. No hookups but do have dump and freshwater. Easy on/off the highway so do hear some noise but proximity to Theodore Roosevelt NP and size/quality of sites makes up for it. Not sure if pricing just increased but sign said $20/night. Still a great deal.

The Novel RV
For Buffalo Gap Campground: This is a great little campground! Great host. No hook ups, but dump and fresh water in parking lot, plus fresh water spigots throughout campground. Sites are not on top of each other and roomy, some have shade, others more sun. If you’re in a site near the highway there is some noise, but it never bothered me and both times I stayed I was near the highway. Only downside is no connectivity in campground, but if you drive up the hill to a turnout, you can get decent service. $6/nt or $3/nt with Senior Pass.
