For Lafayette Park: As described in previous reviews. 2022 rate is now $30 and the new manager prefers online booking through Roverpass.com and this adds $3.15 extra. Or you can try to call the campground at 308-537-2299, the Allstays number listed is the city hall. Campground is smaller with gravel roads and sites. It sits next to a large city park with 2 large fishing ponds and has long paved walking trails. Just cross over a small covered bridge to get there from the campground. This campground is good for small to mid size campers or trailers and the park is not big rig friendly. Site #’s 15,16, 23,24,27,28 are 50 amp others are 30/20. All have water. There is an awkward elevated dump station at the office steps. Full summer shade from dozens of giant unmaintained trees that drop branches on windy days.

For Lafayette Park: Very nice and clean campground just a few miles from the interstate. Restrooms and showers are available. Sites are wide and there are several pull through sites available. There are train tracks nearby and you'll hear many trains pass through. Walking trails nearby at the lake.

For Lafayette Park: Still $25, was easy enough to find, the sites are pretty level and its a nice park. Trains were there but infrequent.

For Lafayette Park: Nice little spot with good area to get some exercise after a long day in the road. City park so streetlights a bit intrusive. Beware: LOTS of train noise all night! Other than that a decent place, price was right.

Caprice

For Lafayette Park: A great campground. The managers are super sweet people. The facility was clean and the site was level. It’s kind of like staying in a city park. We will be back on our way back home. The city did increase rates this year to $25/night for water and electric.
