For Camp-A-Way: Only stayed for one night but it was a great campground. Right off exit, easy to get in/out. Yes there’s some expressway noise but wasn’t anything that kept me from sleeping. Office staff was pleasant, lots of amenities and the dog park was soooooo nice! Also, extremely close to downtown and all that it has to offer. Sites were gravel, pretty level, with picnic tables and fire rings.

For Camp-A-Way: Nice campground with gravel sites under the trees. Excellent dog area and internet. Great for a one night stay while traveling through. Because it’s between two freeways you do hear a lot of traffic noise but earplugs helped .

Heidi

For Camp-A-Way: I agree it’s a good campground, but can’t give it a 5 like other reviews. all of the sites are gravel, most are decently level, some are not. Yes they have a clean laundry room at $2 each, a small pool, trampoline and a few other kids activities, fenced dog park and small playground. I still think it is overpriced due to the sites being gravel and sometimes you can’t figure out what’s a road and “oh, that’s a pull thru camp site”. They’ve used every angle of gravel to put a site in, sometimes it looks like three sites made a triangle, so be sure to ask for a pull thru with a tow. Some sites would barely fit a camper van. That said, the sites are not side by side like I’ve seen/be in before. Also, it does sit between two freeways. Not super loud, but it’s there. It is very clean and maintained. Trees are not an issue and they keep them trimmed up. Looks like fire pits at most sites as well as picnic tables. I don’t think there are other campgrounds around so they can charge what they charge. It’s a great stopping point in Nebraska. It is big rig friendly and yes, I would come back. It is a couple miles off the freeway, but easy enough to get to. Lastly, Leach RV Sales was able to supply us with drive thru propane.

Mo

For Camp-A-Way: One of the nicest I have stayed in. Office staff nice. Good location. Grounds clean and well attended to. Lots of nice big trees. Sites are specious but not so level. Excellent Wi-Fi. Lots of stuff for kids. Small pool. Indoor “spa” - has a hot tub. Would definitely come back.

Mike Milliman

For Camp-A-Way: Nice park with nice people. We really appreciated the owner who helped us with an electrical problem we had and wouldn’t let us pay him for helping to fix it. That deserves a five star rating even though they didn’t have cement pads which I normally would reserve 5 stars for. But they have good pull through spots and we enjoyed the hot tub and pool as well.

Richard

For Camp-A-Way: Very nice! Nice, spacious, level sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Road noise is not a problem- is a dull constant background noise- not jarring like a railroad. Stayed in early March- looked like it would be a very nice place in warmer weather- a long slip-n-slide and playground.

Mark

For Camp-A-Way: They were great with working with us on changing the date of our stay several times. We were assigned a site featuring a lot of gross litter - stuff that looked like old plastic gloves that had been ground into the gravel; stuff that looked like absorbent material (think diaper or pad for yucky spill; and a pile of about 50 cigarette butts. YUCK!! There were plenty of open sites. Not sure why we got a filthy one.
