For I-80 Lakeside Campground: This is a very basic campground in the middle of nowhere Nebraska. Call the lady from the flying J which is about a half mile away. She told me $26 a night that she was leaving and that I could just come over pick any side I wanted to be $26 in the dropbox and it would be fine. So I get there I pick up the packet there is a map attached to an envelope I pulled a map off put the money in the envelope right on it that I’m in space I’ll drop in the box says hook up and go to bed. The next morning about 730 I get a knock on my door from an extremely rude young man I do not know if he’s an older or just a work camper. But he has the personality of a desert Radler that I saw at the Apache Museum down on the Arizona border. Do you screaming but I did not leave the form with my Damen license number on it. Never saw the form. He explained to me that I was supposed to tear the bottom of the map off put my information on it and leave it with the money. I explained to him that I was not a mind reader. It does not say turn the bottom of the map off north of the lady who told me to leave $26 tell me to leave the bottom of the map there. But I can tell you he was not friendly individual.

For I-80 Lakeside Campground: Yes it is close to I-80, so there is some distant road noise. In every other respect this is a great campground. We were warmly welcomed, got a nice site and enjoyed walking around. Strongly recommend.

Nadina

For I-80 Lakeside Campground: Highly recommend! Staff super friendly, bathhouse very nice, and shady! Excepts many discounts and reasonably price before that. Right next to I 80, in and out very easy, and a pretty lake nearby.

For I-80 Lakeside Campground: Great little campground for overnite or a couple days. Hosts are super nice! It must be good, this is our second stay here although we didn’t realize it till we pulled in. Definitely making a note of that for the future.

Rolling Stones

For I-80 Lakeside Campground: This is a great campground. I wish I would have known more about it. We would have stayed longer. This park is right off I-80 about 1/2 mile north off exit 179. Nice long pull through sites. 30/50 amp power, good water. Sites are hard packed gravel and really level. The park does not have cable or WiFi but Verizon Service is 5 bars. The park has a very nice lake with catch & release fishing, boat rentals and swimming from the sand beaches at your own risk (No Lifegaurds). There is a nice little store in the office and a 1 mile walking trail around the lake. If you are traveling in western Nebraska on I-80 this park is worth stopping for a couple of days.

Jane

For I-80 Lakeside Campground: I would have given this a five, but the interstate is a bit close. We could not hear it from inside our motorhome, but definitely can outside. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. There is recent gravel everywhere, so in spite of a torrential downpour last night, the mud is minimal. No issues. Pull through pad was level. Bathrooms were older, but very clean. Nice walk around the pond after a long day of driving. I would stay here again.
