Serenity

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: All gravel. Level drive through spaces. Not too tight. Easy access from road. Near a few fast food places and gas station. Playground and Sandbox was a great addition. Got in early enough for my daughter to enjoy it and hung around in the am for her enjoyment as well. Did not notice any road noise or anything even though we could see the highway. Would definitely park here a night or two again if traveling through. Has tee-pees for rent as well. We stayed in Motorhome.

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: Great little place for an overnight stop! Close easy access to I80. Sites gravel and fairly level. Not much shade. Owners very friendly and helpful! We will be stopping back by on our way through Nebraska.

Phil

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: Exceptionally clean, attractive, and everything worked! Owners were friendly, helpful, and accomodating. It was a cold night, but the lounge was warm and pleasant -- even had a book share. A bit close to the freeway noise (we were in a tent), but otherwise might be the most comfortable and best run RV park we've stayed in.

Keith

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: If you are in a camper or RV this would be a wonderful spot to stop. Right off of I80 it is convenient, but if you are in a tent it is RIGHT OFF of I80. Very loud road noise all night long. Freight Train throughout the night as well. Bathrooms clean, convenient after hours check in. The noise level and a bit of cow smell is the only reason I give it 3 stars.

Laura K.

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: This RV park is super cute! Nice pull thrus for bigger rigs. We came in late at night and there is a drop box to pay. Nice location right off 80. I will stay here again.

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: Awesome overnight stop, clean, right off the interstate. I didn't hear the traffic, so I slept like a baby. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is no TV availability. I even tried scanning for channels & none of my TVs picked up analog or digital signals.
Great place. Wonderful people!

Marie

For KOA Ogallala Lake McConaughy: Easy in/out with level pads and friendly owners. Park is right next to freeway with lots of truck traffic during the night and frequent train whistles. Be sure to bring ear plugs if you want to sleep at night.
