For Tuxbury Pond RV Resort: Stayed 9-17-2017 through 9-29-2017. I'm usually very generous with my rating, but the only reason this place gets even two stars is completely due to the very helpful and friendly staff. This TT Encore park had a lot of seasonal people who just are not that friendly to transients. Getting into the place can also be a challenge as you may need to make the 140 degree turn. With our 43' fifth wheel, that meant seesawing a couple of times. The campground is miles out of civilization down a very long, bad, rough, horrible washboard road that will just about kill you if you go over 10 mph. The WiFi worked at clubhouse well enough to download a few movies and AT&T and Sprint provided enough bandwidth for work, but not streaming. Smaller rigs should do well here and if a few of the residents got an attitude adjustment then the long terrible road would still be a royal pain, but the stay would be decent as it has real potential to be a nice looking park.

For Tuxbury Pond RV Resort: The park is in a pretty wooded area but is very tired. We have a 42-foot fifth wheel and driving it through the park to find our site was a serious challenge. If you have anything longer than 30 feet or so, you may want to consider staying somewhere else. We ended up finding a spot in the seasonal area near some pretty trashed out trailers. We did have 50-amps, water and sewer hook-ups, so that was a plus. Good news is the staff was very friendly and helpful and did their best to accommodate us within the rather serious limitations of the park. If it wasn’t for the staff, I would only give the park two stars. We have Verizon and cell service was poor and the park’s WiFi only works in the pavilion. To dump your trash you have to walk a quarter-mile uphill to the dumpsters, not ideal. Tuxbury Pond is part of the Thousand Trails system, so our stay was free. If we had to pay anything over $25 per night for this place I don’t think I’d be happy.

For Tuxbury Pond RV Resort: Overcrowded, site are to small, road network is to tight, and over priced! After three attempts to find an appropriate site for our 28 ft travel trailer, we left.

For Tuxbury Pond RV Resort: This is a perfectly nice campground but over charges for what they provide. The pool is nice and clean. There is a small park. Showers were clean. Internet did not work. Cell service did not work. We had to drive half a mile to throw our trash in the dumpsters (which was disgusting). A couple of the roads into the park and at the entrance could use some serious work. Our site had full hookups with 50amps. We were parked on a grass/dirt surface. The sites were not long, but very wide.

We paid $58 a night and they added $4 per night for resort fee. I am still wondering what the resort part was because this was far from a resort. I wouldn't stay here again unless they lower their price by $20 per night.
