Ma

For Timberland Lake Campground: No grass. Dirt roads, dirt camp sites. Run down. Large POTHOLES everywhere that can damage your camper.

Vanslam

For Timberland Lake Campground: This is s nice park. There is a $20 discount for first timers. There after there is Good Sam. The staff and other campers were friendly. If you take exit 16b off of 195 get ready for the final 2 1/2 mile ride down a small dirt road. Exit 16 offers a much more pleasant experience. Damn Garmin.

Philman

For Timberland Lake Campground: This is a nicely run family run campground. However, a couple of issues to note. First it is all dirt and sand roads and spaces. Second, not many sites a would say you can get a large trailer into. Lastly, nearly all seasonal spaces with a few sites with trash in spaces, poorly maintained trailers.

Joe

For Timberland Lake Campground: Pros: scenic, abundant shade trees, very family friendly, large camp store, friendly staff.

Cons: entrance road narrow and full of potholes, campground roads very narrow, sites very close to one another and crowded. Maneuvering my 35 foot fifth wheel around the site was a challenge. Can't recommend for big or long rigs.
