For Liberty Harbor RV Park: It is a parking lot, with water and power, that is adjacent to a working boat yard. Not too glamorous but super convenient to NYC. Lot is level, staff is very nice, including the security guard that is there at night. Local restaurants are close, plentiful and very good. Bathrooms could use some updating but are clean. The proximity to attractions nearby cannot be understated, it really is a great location. Construction that other reviews mention seems mostly done. Very quiet at night.

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: So great to be close to the ferry and trains. This place was safe and the night security was helpful. It is basically a parking lot with gravel pads. The shower area was fine and the water was hot. There is one dump and we had to wait at check-out time in a line to use it for a good 10-15 minutes. To get there is hard as its down narrow streets that has lots of bumps and potholes.

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: Serves it's purpose as a base for visiting NYC. Washroom and showers are fine which will be required for longer stays Understand some limitations. Water and electric hookups are fine. There are no sewer hookups, and the pump-out trailer is broken and seems it has been that way for a while.... conserve your tanks! Internet works across the property but is very slow. Text loads fine but pictures and video are challenged. Accessing NYC is using the PATH trains to WTC or 33rd Street. PATH fares are separate from MTA fares. Or take NY Waterways across the river....convenient to Pier 79 or WTC. Any deeper excursions require lots of walking or a double fare.

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: Parking lot with electric & water... safe, level and it's all about location ... where you going to stay? They know it and can charge you for it. Never paid $95 a night anywhere! But, what you going to do ? It's NYC ... security guy at gate was Great! Very nice. #HisRoadTrip

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: Stayed 1 night for 4th of July 2016
It is basically a parking lot with water and electric. Very visible security staff. Great Cell service. VERY convenient to NYC and local attractions. Be aware the is a lot of construction going on and at 5 AM construction workers start walking through on their way to work. Avoid site C24 as it has a gate in the back and random people walk through to get to and from the adjacent parking lot. We did not use the rest rooms so we cannot comment on those. The dump station has a ring above the hole in the ground ( I guessing to lock it closed) that prevents your dump hose from sealing, causing some messy splash back. I would still go back for the 4th of July ( in a different site), the view was great and proximity to all the activities was great and hopefully the construction in the area will be finished.

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: We stayed at Liberty Harbor for the NCAA Division One Wrestling Championships in Madison Square Garden. We camped in a travel trailer with other friends that were also in a travel trailer. After reading the reviews, we were cautious. We have stayed in an urban RV Park in St. Louis many times, so were prepared for something similar. Unfortunately for the Campground and Marina, there is major construction being completed all around the location. This caused us to have to make last minute changes to arrive that our GPS did not report. The change in directions brought us through the "back side" of the marina area. Not the best entrance, as there were very poor roads and the scenery was not the best. Once we arrived, the RV Park was what we expected. A parking lot with spaces that have water and electric. There were a few "long term" RV's on the lot that were quite unique. All around were stored boats and also boats docked in the marina. Our space was large enough to easily accommodate our 30 foot travel trailer and full sized truck. The base was gravel, but the site was very level. We had to add one board to level from side to side, which was expected. The restrooms were immaculate, the showers were immaculate, had fabulous water pressure and wonderful hot water! So, the RV Park had everything we needed, water, electric, and hot water. We were about 5 blocks from the Path train that took us quickly to Madison Square Gardens. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely return to this Park with anticipation that the construction would be finished and the end result will make the location even better. The immediate area had many adorable Shops, unique Markets, and a very large Grocery store in easy walking distance. From the RV Park location, one could easily explore all of NYC, with the ease of easy entry pulling a camper. We came in on I80, then 280, then several smaller streets. We had no trouble navigating the streets pulling the RV. I didn't give the Park five stars because there is always room for improvement.

For Liberty Harbor RV Park: Overall you pay a lot of $$$ for a parking lot with electric and water. It's also very crowded with no shade options. The bath house was clean and the staff was nice but dealing with construction and finding a grassy place to walk the dogs made for a more stressful trip than I prefer.

Also, I never saw a view of the Statue of Liberty and I think I caught a glimpse of Ellis Island once. Had I climbed on top of my trailer it may have been different.

If you just want a place to park your camper to the go explore the city, this place is fine. Otherwise, better find someplace else.
