For Caballo Lake RV Park: This is an immaculate park! Beautiful views of the lake and hills around. Right of the highway. We have saved this to our favorites and will def be back! CJ serves appetizers every day at happy hour (4:30-6). You bring your drink and sit and get to know your neighbors. Very friendly and accessible.

For Caballo Lake RV Park: All previous reviews are accurate, it's a great park. However, if you're not 55+ it can take some getting used to. It reminds me of going to my grandma's house as a kid, inaccessibly clean and quiet, like you can't touch anything or stay up too late lest the 1/2 dozen seniors who watch your every move will scold you. If that's your scene you can't beat the price. The only other con is the noise from I-25, but your nearly as close to the lake. Also no credit cards nor kids (its not 55+, just selective).

For Caballo Lake RV Park: Great well kept RV park. On site owner, CJ, is very helpful and a great hostess with a social gathering every afternoon from 4:30 to 6:00 on her patio or inside if cool. Hors d'oeuvres provided, you bring your own beverage. Wide level pull through sites. Lake and mountain view. Hiking paths to lake. No propane, but available down the road. Bargain at $15/night + electric!

For Caballo Lake RV Park: THIS IS THE NICEST PARK! A TRUE HIDDEN GEM ! No Restrooms but if I were to have my own RV Park- this would be it!! 19 sites pull thru, A DOG PARK MY DOGS LOVED, water, electric, WONDERFUL OWNERS, Beautiful lake and mountain view!! We were given sites to see, history of the area- What more could we want?
Immaculate and $15 day + elec

For Caballo Lake RV Park: Great place, level, easy to maneuver. Views of the lake, walking trails, friendly helpful owner. Would definitely come back. Paid $15, camped in a 40 foot motorhome.

For Caballo Lake RV Park: A favorite stop. Mountain views and lake access. Well appointed and well run by charming on-site owner. Extras--lawn games, fenced dog park, daily social hour. We will definitely be back.
