It is not like most parking lots, they do have trees.

For Rio Chama RV Campground: We stayed here 5 nights and had a great time. If you have dogs, the dogs area is awesome. It’s shady and grassy so a great places for the pups to burn up some energy. Take a walk up to the Wildlife management area - only about a mile and a half from the RV park - beautiful scenery and a nice easy hike. Laundromat nearby is very clean and machines are very efficient. We will come back!!

For Rio Chama RV Campground: We made reservations for a couple of nights and when we got here we extended to 5 nights, it was so pleasant.
We had a site right on the river, and could see the Toltec RR train from our site.
They take pride in their park, working daily trimming, cleaning, raking, and it shows.
Very friendly and accommodating office staff.
We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.
We camped here in a 27' motor home.

For Rio Chama RV Campground: One of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in...if not THE nicest. Super-friendly staff, beautiful shaded sites. We were in one of the riverside sites facing the river which you can hear running all night. Cool under the shade trees, and lots of wildlife (chipmunks, deer, tons of different birds). Good water pressure and stable electric. Spotlessly clean site and an awesome location adjacent to the train station. We will definitely return!
