For Red Rock Park: Beautiful setting. Red, powdery dust, ants, deep holes from desert critters, large dog roaming, weeds, trash, and burrs. This could be great…but it’s not. If you are here to hike to the beautiful ChurchRock it might be worth it for convenience. It is an interesting experience and I do feel safe but I wouldn’t come back.

For Red Rock Park: Still $22/night for 30/50 amp & water. Conditions the same as in previous reviews. Showers are usuable, but smelled of mildew. Beware of sand spurs in some locations. Did the beautiful and well maintained Church Rock Trail. Quiet at night. Would stay again.

DocN

For Red Rock Park: $22 a night for 50 amp/water. Cold enough for water outside to freeze. Dogs roaming freely, 2 appeared to be from long-term campers. Sites are confusing and not all are level. Gorgeous backdrop of ted sandstone hills. Stayed one night and would stay again.

For Red Rock Park: This is good for an overnight stop. The setup is a little different. The office is a good mile away from the campground and closes at 4:30pm sharp. Basically all the sites are 1st come 1st served. Pull in, find a site that suits you, set up and go to office before 4:30 or the next morning. If you are in a big rig there are a few sites that you will fit in. If you go to the office in your rig beware; Pull in and park in the lower lot. You WILL NOT be able to make the turns in the upper lot. The cost is $22/night regardless of your rig if you use power/water. The park is about a 10 minute drive off I-40. There are train tracks 3/8 mile from the park. I did not hear any trains at night but I heard a couple the next morning when I was pulling in my power cord and braking camp. We stayed here in a 45’ Class A Motorcoach.

For Red Rock Park: For a little city park at $22 this a night this great little spot outside of Gallup. With a beautiful setting next to the Red Rock. The set up has water/electrical/dump/WiFi and showers, The women’s shower has a heater in it which was great since it is spring and about 40 degrees out. In both showers only 1 shower working and water pressure a little weak. But nothing a camper wouldn’t already be familiar with. The city park agent was super polite and helpful. This park is for locals not just campers, meaning there are events here, that’s why the lay out is funny but not confusing . It doesn’t look like a fairground but there is an arenas and some kind of exhibit hall behind the the big Red Rock. Yes there are some dogs that roam around but possibly from other campers. Will camp here again.

CArd

For Red Rock Park: What a wonderful setting against the beautiful red cliffs. They have a challenge with the dry vs wet weather keeping sand where it belongs, but we had a great experience and plan to return.

Teresa

For Red Rock Park: We spent one night here. There were stray dogs running around the park which caused dogs in campers to bark all day and night. Would not stay here again.
