C & D's Landmark
For Raton Pass Camp and Cafe: Great location for a stop over on the way north. We planned to stay 2 nights but extended for a 3rd. Back-in sites have an amazing view but are close together. We had a little trouble backing in our 41' fifth wheel, but the view from site 9 was worth it. There are some pull through sites available if you're not up to backing in.
Cafe is not open this season due to lack of staff. Walmart is 11 miles north in Trinidad, CO. Laundry facilities on site (we didn't use it).
Easy access from the highway going north, but a little tricky coming south because of the weigh station. Follow blue signs with RV icon to get you back across the highway.
Friendly staff and owners are onsite. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.

Extending our Weeken
For Raton Pass Camp and Cafe: Awesome mountain views. Friendly staff, very clean park, great place for overnight or longer. We stayed a week in our MH. Will always stop here when going this way.
