For Adventures East Campground and Cottages: The cg is under new management as of May 2017. The new owner is making improvements but has his priorities backward. He has installed new electric in the existing sites then went on to clearing land for new additional sites, this left the existing sites and roads a mud pit. He should have leveled the sites, improved the drainage and put gravel on, or even paved, the roads!

We arrived on 9/13 after 3 days of rain. The entrance road is dirt, full of pot holes and the trees that need to be trimmed so they do not hit big rigs. We are only 11' 11" tall and hit branches. Once you got to the entrance kiosk the road turned to mud, you could see where they had trenched in the electric causing mud all over the "road". The owner offered us a 50% discount, but we chose to go across the street to a dry campground with 50 amp pull throughs, lots of grass and NO mud.

For Adventures East Campground and Cottages: Sorry, is all I can say... sites are mud holes, very tight sites, my propane tank ended up right next to neighbors fire ring, mud road the same , gravel needed... late June pool liner was being repaired. I was afraid to put my levelers down because I might sink... I needed to continue our VACATION not slipping in mud. Coast 2 coast was not up to par... this place should not even be in the system ... left after 30 minutes and went across the street. Sure, I paid more but I was not going to stay here for 2 days.

I did hear these folks just bought this place.. which was let run down by previous owners... and they were not ready for the season ... maybe next year they will have the problems fixed. #HisRoadTrip www dot HisRoadTrip dot com
