For Broad Cove Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Beautiful setting, shaded spots were nice. Level. Slightly muddy due to recent rain. Stayed 3 nights. We don’t like to unhook once settled, and we don’t have a toad, and were able to walk to two lovely trails. One negative was neighbors had a yappy dog, and we could not find a camp host who might ask them to control their dog. WiFi in laundry building was very slow, almost to the point of not functioning. Otherwise , a great place.

For Broad Cove Campground - Cape Breton Highlands National Park: Broad Cove is a very nice Parks Canada campsite located in Cape Breton HIghlands National Park. It is iin a good location for exploring the eastern side of the Cabot Trail. The scenery around the area is beautiful. EWS sites are in a large open, grassy area while the loops with unserviced sites are more private, in the trees. We visited in mid-September and some of the campground loops were closed, perhaps for the season. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained and clean, with hot showers, hot water and soap dispensers at the sinks, paper towel dispensers and forced-air hand dryers. There is a laundry room with two coin-operated washers and two dryers.
