Dr Ken Shelby
For Gold Dust West Casino and RV Park: Refused to allow me to make a reservation! They said my 1999 RV was too old to park in their RV. Unacceptable!!

Seminole Navion
For Gold Dust West Casino and RV Park: Nice little park for what it is. Sites are kind of small. Everything at the site worked fine. Cable had a lot of channels. Laundry and showers were fine. Nice casino with several food options. I recommend the Mexican (Ole Ole). Many stores in the area.

Jack
For Gold Dust West Casino and RV Park: We thought that this was a great rv park. The most level site that we have encountered. Concrete pads, but no facilities for kids. Close by parking for extra cars.
Spaces are tight, and to save a trek, stop by hotel registration on the way in to check in before going to your site. WiFi was marginal.
Location is good, just off the highway, convenient to downtown and for moving on.
We don't gamble, so no opinion on the casino.

Taminator
For Gold Dust West Casino and RV Park: So I'm giving this park a 1 star for big rigs and customer service. If you're over 30' consider going somewhere else. We have a 43' 5th wheel that barely fit into their "big" pull through. I called before arriving and was told our rig would fit. Barely enough room to put the slides out. We had to unhook from our rig but then the compact car size space next to the trailer where we're supposed to park wasn't big enough for the dually. So we parked in the space next to us and were told it would be another space rental to park there. Were told we could park in the parking lot in front of the casino. Separating our truck from where we are parked? Not gonna happen. The manager finally relented and we were able to park in the space next to us. And guess what? The park wasn't full so I don't know why they made such a big fuss. We paid about $32 for the night which is better than the $40 other parks in the area charge. Extremely small park and hard to maneuver around with our big rig. Also, you have to walk about 100 yards up to the casino/hotel to check in. They require a $50 refundable deposit for any damage you may cause to the site (really???). Then you have to walk back to the office when you're checking out to get your receipt. The whole shebang is just a mess and completely inconvenient. The only positives are it was relatively quiet, all sites are paved, the showers are immaculate & the price, although high for no amenities, was cheaper than other parks.
