For So-Hi Campground: This is not a campground I would stay at again.
On the good side the owner and staff were and friendly and helpful and attempted to resolve issues. However, this campground is in need in maintenance. There was a power outage in the area caused by a tree falling on a wire. Once the power company fixed it and power was back to the campground, our surge protector blocked power due to low voltage. They indicated it was corroded lines that they fixed the next day however the issue was not resolved. When we attempted to empty our black tank, the sewer backed up. Luckily, we had enough hose to reach to a main sewer line that was in the site next to ours. For the 7 days were we there, the garbage dumpsters were full and never picked up. Around the edge of the campground there were a couple of unsightly 4- 5 foot high piles of branches. Our view was of a group of rundown seasonal campers and sheds. Our site was gravel and rocks, had trouble leveling.

For So-Hi Campground: Good people and services. Quiet and comfortable. Ralph, went the extra mile to please. Nice little pond full of bass and bluegill. A litte muddy after a rain in places . Our 40' fit but a bit tight on approach roads. Call for directions.

For So-Hi Campground: Follow directions into park, cuz coming from the north is an impossible left turn down a steep gravel drive. Hilly area, rocky roads, mostly unlevel sites. Plenty of trees for good shade. It was muddy and mucky from so much rain. Newer bathhouses around tent sites had dish washing sink, 1 toilet and 1 shower. Main bathhouse uphill was awkward, no privacy in shower area, women's room floor constantly damp due to poor ventilation. Small laundry open only office hours.

For So-Hi Campground: SoHi is a great campground to spend the summer or just a weekend. We have stayed here for three summers now and just love the place. A wonderful woodland experience with plenty to do in the area. Lots of hiking, biking and climbing close by. Plenty of clean rest rooms and hot showers to enjoy. Plenty of amenities and things to do. Free WIFI.
