For Pike Lake State Park: Spent two nights here in our new (used) camping trailer after a 30ish year camping break. So this was our familiarization trip. The reservation process was easy. Swapping camp sites the day before arrival was accommodated with a phone call. Staff were great both checking in and when we rented the paddle boats. As you can imagine after a 30 year camping break using a new and unfamiliar trailer we forgot a lot. The staff recommended the Dollar General about 7ish miles south which proved extremely useful. The sites were pretty level with 30 amp electric. The lake was more a large pond but fun. Even the dump station was clean. If you’re looking for a weekend getaway this is a good choice.
