Carrie
For ABC Country Camping and Cabins: We stayed in cabin 3 for a weekend. We arrived late in the evening due to work. I knew when I reserved the place that it was probably going to be bare bones since it was so cheap but I never expected it to be disgusting. The ceiling was blue styrofoam board with clear duct tape! The walls were pieces together with really thin brown board. The window was covered with foil. We tried to turn on ac and it put out horrible odors. We went to take showers and they are the kind that you have to pull on and it lasts for a few seconds then you have to do it again. There was no way to adjust the water temperature so after pulling on the cord numerous times to finish our showers the water was scalding hot. I spoke with the owner on Monday because their office was closed during the hours we were there due to having to leave for work at 6 am and not getting back until around 11 pm. She said I should have said something sooner and I told her I couldn’t because they were closed and I called their number but they never answered. She said then that I should have went and told her although I had no clue where they live! Our clothes all smell horrible because of the cabin odor. We would have stayed elsewhere but everything was booked due to the fall festival that we were working at.

For ABC Country Camping and Cabins: Horrible stay, prices are high for a day pass. Owners VERY rude. The retired school teacher that owns the park. Swears in front of children, if you are a permanent camper that she doesn't like which is most of them, and a visitor comes to see you she will then be very rude to your company. She charged FULL admission price for a 2 week old baby. I would definitely rethink your plans if this where you were thinking about camping. The pool is green, they say heated but always freezing. No hiking no lake. Best description is trailer park not camp ground.
