For AW Marion State Park: We stayed during the summer of Covid so all reservations had to be online with an additional $6.50 fee. This makes this campground a bit on the expensive side for only electric at the sites. There was a water spigot to fill up with and a dump. We must have chosen the only sloped site (#56) but even that wasn’t too bad. All other sites were better albeit somewhat short. Most were a nice distance from the next. Hike around the lake is 3.9 miles although most of the time you can’t see the lake. No discount for America the Beautiful but there is a Buckeye discount if you are from Ohio.

For AW Marion State Park: This is our third year of coming to AW Marion. We have a son who lives in Circleville. It was delightful to pull in this year and find the entry road paved. It was previously in very bad condition. We pull a 33 ft fifth wheel so that road was a great improvement. There is only one restroom facility and no showers. The other facilities are porta potties. We like it for its convenience for us.
