For Shadylake Campground: Reservations are taken via text with no confirmation. Directions are not correct if you use gps, and the signs to find the entrance are all but nonexistent (if you follow them, you will end up in the neighbors driveway). Owner was very rude to my husband, saying words I would never say to someone I wanted to stay at my place of business. Electric had to be hooked up to the lot next to us, which I was told by the owner was the only way for us to get power. Showers are back in the woods with a bunch of old junk campers/trailers, even my husband wouldn't get in them and he's not near as picky as I am. will NOT stay here again!!!

For Shadylake Campground: We fulltime RV & have stayed @ hundreds of sites & this one is the worst one. The owner is not very friendly, nor is most of the help. We paid for a sewer pump out & they broke the cap ( the one with a gate) Of course the guy denied it & the owner just jerked me around. The turns are sharp & it is so expensive for what you get. We went to another park & met so many who left there like we did.
I had to give it 1 star so no one thought we forget it.

For Shadylake Campground: Spoke to Terry, manager, Park is not year round. Mid-April thru Mid-October. Cannot supply water during the winter months.
Pleasant man with a welcoming attitude. Starts taking reservations at the beginning of April.

Just love this site!
