For Indian Lake State Park: We chose the wrong weekend to stay here. We stayed in our camper in the A section. This was a last minute trip as we found one remaining open spot. We stayed 2 nights. Staff at check in were very nice. Water fill up was in the exit lane so we had to do a u turn to get to it and then another u turn to go back to our site. We had a waterfront site on the canal which is a great location; however, the whole site was covered in goose poop. Not just droppings here and there, it was everywhere you stepped. Unfortunately our fire ring was left filled with previous campers burnt wood, ash and garbage. I noticed a lot of garbage laying here and there and even a chunk of carpet laying by the canal. The first night it rained all night into the morning. Our campsite became a swamp, including the fire pit that had collected a large puddle. As soon as we stepped out of the camper there was standing water. We went to office to find out if it would be possible to move to one of the many empty spots we saw around us but were told no because they could not change anything in the computer. They told us we could buy some hay to throw down to help with the mud. Walking around the park it didn't appear that other sites had that issue so I think maybe we just picked the wrong spot.

For Indian Lake State Park: We are here to go to nearby Jackson Center. It is pretty remote. Very large facility. We are in Loop A which has some waterfront sites. Several geese families , so cute! We’ve noticed the sites are not real level in most areas. Store is nice, great ice cream selection ! Roads and grounds well maintained. Would stay here again..

For Indian Lake State Park: Stayed only one night in Oct. park was less than 1/4 full
Driveways and sites looked to be recently paved blacktop. Each had picnic table and fire pit. Nice grassy area next to each site and nicely spaced out. Restrooms were clean. Many sites had shade. Dumpsters in each loop.

For Indian Lake State Park: Pretty easy to get to. Not easy to get into sites. Large unattended children driving and running around on bikes all night into the dark! Wild geese all around along with there droppings. If you have a boat you might enjoy. Long way from interstate off a truck route that runs across the state. We were in d section on gravel uneven site Ohio usually has great state parks not this one! Never again

For Indian Lake State Park: POST COVID REVIEW** Friday- Sunday trip. Great campground for kids. Playgrounds are open. Only one shower house with four separate fully enclosed spacious shower stalls with hot and cold water, good pressure, seating area and towel hooks. Everyone has bikes and there is a BMX style course. Very minimal amount of full hook up sites but a lot with Electric. Multiple dump stations and waste water collection wells with a spigot. CAMPSITES ARE ENORMOUS. And plenty of open space for kiddos to run and play. The swimming beach was pretty big, everyone was pretty well spaced apart. Water seemed pretty clean, really choppy but it did storm while we were there. The map shows quite a few hiking trails- every area is pet friendly. The dog beach is fairly small. Be prepared for muddy/sandy dogs when they come out of the water. Most of the restrooms are open, pretty clean, well lit. SWIMMING POOL IS CLOSED. NO WIFI. Two channels with antenna. Lots and lots and lots of goose poop. Seemed to be quite a bit of litter. Courtesy sewage hose at main dump station. Level camping asphalt pads. Well stocked store with literally everything a half mile from the campground. Plenty of fishing spots. Mostly family camping and I think quiet hours are enforced. We loved it and will probably return. Small donut shop accessible by boat. Not many wearing masks at campground, Ranger welcome booth or surrounding businesses.

For Indian Lake State Park: We stayed in the middle of the week in May and - except for the full hook-up sites in Loop D backing up to the Lake - the place was pretty empty. There are a lot of electric sites, lots of grass and tall trees. The paved site pads seem too short to hold today’s RVs along with a vehicle. I expect on the weekend the place feels very crowded with cars parked on the grass or the road. Restrooms were old but clean. Only say one shower house which was in loop C and very nice. Sites by the lake are very nice
