For Logan Hollow - Tar Hollow State Park: This is a nice Ohio State Park but be forewarned it is WAY out in the boondocks. It is about 15 miles from Chillicothe, with about 7 8 of those miles on a narrow winding road to get there. There is no cell service at all; in fact they have a pay phone to use if needed. The off season check in process was confusing, and their "pull-thru's" are actually a row of grassy sites where people pull in willy-nilly. There are lots of asphalt sites which can be reserved for an extra $8. Electric only. Pit toilets. During season this looks like a fun place for kids with mini golf and a nice beach, but it is way out of the way for just an overnight stay.
