For Maumee Bay State Park: This is probably one of the nicest campgrounds I've been to. It was superclean, staff was very friendly, it was quiet at night, lots of trails for bicycling, walking and hiking, and going to the beach. Even the dump station was clean where they provide a sewer hose for you to hook to your RV and a water hose to clean out your tanks. Then there's potable water and trash bins for you to dump all of your trash.

For Maumee Bay State Park: Large park with 30 amp electric only. Only 1 dump station, which is very busy on weekend mornings. Park has small army of volunteers that really do a great job keeping the park clean and have activities (ice cream socials, donuts and coffee, movies) on a regular basis. We enjoyed the walking trails and large sites. The downside is 30 amp which is taxed when the park is full, and limited hook ups (only matter if you stay for extended time, of course). Resort nearby with restaurant and golf course. Restrooms clean and abundant.

For Maumee Bay State Park: This is a Beautiful well thought out park. Large sites with grassy lawns and plenty of privacy. Plenty of nifty features too like greywater sinks in each loop and an air pump near the state of the art dump station. Best of all they honor Passport America Mondays through Wednesday's.

For Maumee Bay State Park: Easily one of the nicest state parks I've ever stayed in. All the lots are paved and the grass is neatly groomed. Our site required only a slight amount of blocking to level side to side but I don't think this is the norm. There is a very nice paved biking trail to the beach and a cool Boardwalk/nature hike on the east side of the state park. No water/sewer but if it had them, it would be a five year wait to get in this park. We will definitely be back.

For Maumee Bay State Park: A well designed, pleasant campground with huge sites. Each site has a paved parking pad and a large grass lawn with a fire ring and picnic table. There are mid size trees and lots of wild flowers and shrubs between the sites.
