For KOA Journey Toledo East: We stayed at site #205 FHU, Back-in, 50amp. Site was level and gravel. Sites were close, good for 1 night stay.

For KOA Journey Toledo East: More recent reviews are spot on! This is a smaller but lovely park. Well maintained with very helpful staff. New gravel on roads to nice size sites. No problems getting in or out with my 38’ fifth wheel. If traveling south on I-75, suggest exiting south of town on 20. Campground is ~5 miles on left. My GPS took us through Toledo!

For KOA Journey Toledo East: I was skeptical based on what I read, we we’re pleasantly surprised and had a great experience at this KOA. The grounds are very well maintained, smooth gravel roads and nice level sites. It is not a fancy park, but clean and very friendly staff. It has a small pool, basic convenience store (cold bush light was a plus) and they delivered fire wood to our site. Location is just off of interstate 80. Stay here with confidence.

For KOA Journey Toledo East: I understand this place is under new management, and the staff was so nice and helpful. We loved this place. Nice wide sites, beautiful mature trees, a nice pool, and everyone so friendly. I would absolutely come again.

For KOA Journey Toledo East: Traveling south from MI made this a great place to stop for a night. The approach road was under construction & the turn into the park very tight for a 40+ foot rig. The owners were super nice, helped get everything set up. Made sure we were satisfied. Their new owners & are working to improve satisfaction levels. It’s pricey but no other nearby choices. I’d come back if traveling here.

For KOA Journey Toledo East: Spent one night here at a pull thru 50 amp electric / water site #111. Power was excellent, water pressure was 30 psi. Site was gravel pull thru long enough for our 42 ft fifth wheel to remain connected to our truck. Site was level. Roads in park were rutted/ pothole. Staff was very friendly / helpful. Have a nice pool and a small fence dog park at the entrance. Easy to get to / from I-80, Very quite at night.

Jens Weber

For KOA Journey Toledo East: This KOA campground is not exactly a good representative for the brand. It is a mix of back-in and pull-through sites, some with full hook-ups, some with water and electricity, some dry, and some tent sites. There is a dump station on site, and they sell propane. There is a small pool that is open seasonally. Trash pick-up on site several times daily.
The back-in sites with 200 and 300 numbers are back-to-back with shared utility pedestals and the back end of the site. The sites are narrow gravel/soil and not very level. They are very close together, so there is not much chance of privacy when outside. Roads are gravel with lots of holes ? holes that holds rainwater for days. Access to the back-in sites can be a problematic because of the right-angle lay-out and narrow roads. The pull-through sites are much better ? long enough for big rigs, and they seem fairly level.
