For Main - West Branch State Park: A very nice state park campground. Almost brand new shower facilities and well taken care of grounds. The lake is one of the few unlimited horsepower lakes in Ohio so it’s very popular with boaters and jet skiers. There is a marina on the opposite side of the lake from the campground that rents boats, pontoon boats and jet skis so take advantage of that. My one complaint is that about 30-40% of the sites have a huge slope to the rear. These are easily the steepest sites I’ve ever seen in a state park. You might have to get creative to level your camper properly if you choose one of these sites. There are some very nice sites that are level though and I’ll definitely be requesting one of these for our next stay.

For Main - West Branch State Park: West Branch is our favorite of all the Ohio state parks, so far. Beautiful views, nice size lots and clean shower houses. You may want to bring along some extra leveling blocks since some spots have a pretty significant slope. Spots book quickly so get you reservation in!

For Main - West Branch State Park: What a beautiful campground! Quiet, wooded sites with paved pads and water views. Facilities were clean and new looking with plenty of large showers. We wish we could have spent more than one night there!

For Main - West Branch State Park: Very nice and clean park with clean showers and restrooms. laundry and camp store. lot of sides. Weekends are busy so make sure you have reservation. sides are good and have tables and grills. some of them in level.

For Main - West Branch State Park: Beautiful state park. Hiking, biking, horse trails. Fishing, skiing, kayaking. Several loops within campground, clean modern bathhouse, with laundry. Playground, sandy beach. Most sites had shady areas for tables. Asphalt road and sites, sites short and narrow. Boat trailers and extra vehicles were parked on grassy areas off the narrow road. Drainage ditches made backing into sites a bit tricky. Good place for families and kids.

For Main - West Branch State Park: Very nice Ohio State Park. $32/nt. for full hookups. Sites are paved, but some look a tad off level! There's a 2650 acre lake here and many campers have boats on their sites. There are 14 miles of hiking trails, and 12 miles of mountain bike/snowmobile trails, and equestrian trails. Most sites are quite shaded to escape the summer heat. Would recommend this park for an overnight or a weeks vacation.
