For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: Easy access off of I-40, but no road noise. Nice hiking trails, good shade, and beautiful setting in small canyon. Good price. Full hook up sites are a little too close but when we were there in mid November the campground was almost empty. I would definitely stay here again.

For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: Had reservations for two nights. Due to unprecedented bad weather we wanted to see if it was possible to move to another later date. Left phone messages, emails, website messages for two days. Never got a call back. Reservation came and went without being able to use it. I would have completely accepted if we were told that the cancellation policy was that no refund was available and we could not reschedule, but to simply be ignored and have no response was frustrating and meant we had to wait multiple extra days before we could try to look for other options. Unless you are 100% certain you will use a reservation at this site, I would advise to go elsewhere as they will never call you back if you want to make any changes.

For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: Nice privately run campground located at the bottom of a small canyon. Campsites range from very close together to well separated. There is a cafe located around the centerpoint of the campground offering hamburgers/hot dogs, shaved ice, etc. There is also a pool and fishing pond. We stayed in the most secluded spot (#63) and were very happy with the location being right next to the trailhead for the small trail network. The campground used to be a state park. Unsure when it went private, but you can see that the current owners are investing in improving the park and it shows. All RV spots have W/E and there are 3 FHU sites as well. We stayed in a 32' Class-C. Will definitely return.

For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: The reviews I read here made it sound delightful. The setting was beautiful, but we arrived late, hoping for a shower before bed, and the restrooms were closed. There were no signs at the entrance to warn us. If there had been we would not have driven down the hill to the campground.

For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: Easy to access off I-40. Family owned and operated Campground. Fantastic bird watching in the spring from the nice walking trails. Stayed four nights in April and well worth the price!

Arlo

For Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park: There aren’t many options for camping along this stretch of I-40, so I was delighted to find such a neat place to spend the night. Lots of options for a hike after a long day of traveling, so I’m glad I stopped early enough to enjoy it,
