DSVT

For Fifty Point Conservation Area: We were looking for a CG in the general area to break up a long drive. We are self-contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weekend in late October in our 8 metre (25 foot) MH. This is a very nice, clean and well maintained CG right on the shore of Lake Ontario. There are 2 loops. Sites below #46 are the 'old' sites where half are double-wide pull-throughs (2 sites share utility posts in the middle) and half are back-ins in a nicely treed area with shade and privacy. Sites above #50 are the 'new' sites, all back ins with few trees and full sun. All sites are gravel and mostly level. All have electric, water and sewer and the utilities work well. There is wifi, although slower speed than our cellular data. We had good ATT and Verizon service while roaming on Rogers. The CG is within a recreation area that includes a swim beach, marina and restaurant. There is fishing and birding. There are bike trails/routes leading to different sites in Hamilton. The CG is also a great location for visiting/ exploring Hamilton.

Ferret

For Fifty Point Conservation Area: Very nice facility. We stay here often. Pull thru sites are back to back but have plenty of separation between the door side lots. Quite a few trees for shade. There is a new section for larger vehicles that is more open.
Short walk to the marina and restaurant as well as to Lake Ontario.

For Fifty Point Conservation Area: Stayed 26 Sept2015. Easy to get to from the highway. Great for a stop over if traveling. Clean washrooms. Good showers. Community fire pit. No individual camp fires on your site.

Bruce

For Fifty Point Conservation Area: My wife and I just finished a 20 night stay at this park while visiting our family in the area. This is a teriffic spot...large well kept sites...clean showers and washrooms and the staff are exceptional. The marina...a restaurant and a beautiful beach are only a few minutes walk from the campsite. There is also a wonderful market at the entrance to the park. This place is well worth a visit and is worth every penny of the fee
