For Grenville Park Campground: Grenville is great choice as a stopover on the long road between Montreal and Toronto, but it's also great as a summer retreat. Reasonably spacious lots, and a nice layout, literally at the water's edge. Well manicured grass, and superb views of the river and the ships. Mostly quiet except for the VIA trains, but that's just once in a while. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of history and pleasant towns nearby. Negatives: Weak WiFi (an essential service on par with electricity IMHO), and pay showers. Otherwise, it's a really nice, quiet, spacious park. I will definitely schedule it in again as a stopover on the 401 haul.

For Grenville Park Campground: Very nice, clean and well maintained property on the St Lawrence river. NO Wi-Fi. About 10% of sites are unserviced. The rest are water and eclectic only with about 10% 15 amp and the rest 30 amp. Only one dump station and two washrooms for 274 sites. Holiday weekends require a minimum of three night stay. Even though we did not reserve a site in advance we were charged $11.73 for a reservation charge. This brought the total cost with taxes to $62.41 for one night with very minimal services. It is a very nice place but we probably won't stay again.
REVISED: When leaving the campground we stopped at the office to ask why there was a reservation charge for a drive in customer. We where told that their system adds the reservation charge by default and that they just missed removing it. They did refund $13 which makes the campground reasonably priced. The tip is to make sure you look at your invoice immediately. The refund makes this campground reasonably priced and we will stay again.
