For Hat Rock Campground: Stayed 2 nights. All sites are grass, fairly close together. Full hook up not available, looked like they are all taken by long term residences (and all their junk), only power and water available. Park looks old as are the washrooms but they are kept clean. Couldn’t get on their wifi no matter how many times we tried and poor to no cell service so that didn’t work either. Nowadays pretty much an essential. Nice and quiet though.

For Hat Rock Campground: Restrooms old, but clean. 80% of park filled with permanent residences. Not a destination resort, although the state park across the road provides a place to walk and it was $27 with Good Dam discount. We were surprised that it had Good Sam designation

For Hat Rock Campground: Three stars which might be too generous. An older park with numerous long term residents and their collections of treasures. Our site, nestled between two large trees offered shade but impeded the pull-tru. We had to carefully pull in and back out. Wouldn’t stay again unless imperative.

For Hat Rock Campground: Great park. Grassy, long camper sites lined by manicured trees. Well maintained. Seasonal camping area is nice and well kept. They will park you every other site until they fill up. The park is across the street from Hat Rock SP which has access to a boat ramp and the Lewis and Clarck commemorative walking trail. The current is minimal so great kayaking. You are also 1/2 hour from Pendleton. Great for a multiday stay.
