For Smith River Falls Campground: A fantastic place to stay -and the price is right!
9 sites, free, pleasant campground host and a short 5 minute walk to the cascading falls.
Closes Sep 30th for winter.
One word of advice if navigating using Google Maps coming from the direction of I-5, with a travel trailer. Google will cut off many miles by taking you on a fire road just past Elkton. The road is gravel and well maintained, but there are points of confusion when multiple roads intersect. Also, since there is no phone signal you need to trust the gps and not shut the app down or you’re going to have to brush up on your celestial navigation.
Best route from any direction is to catch Lower Smith Road out of Reedsport. These are the directions on the BLM site.

TAP Campers
For Smith River Falls Campground: Great spot! Stayed 12 days, clean vault toilets due to fantastic camp host.
We stayed with a 22’ trailer, wouldn’t suggest larger. Tight turn through 2 trees on loop.
Definitely would stay again!
