For Cherry Springs State Park: Very cool place that has gotten very popular in the last few years. Used to be first come now you have to reserve camping ($15) and reserve a seat at the great astronomy demonstrations (free). They have telescopes set up for you to look at all kinds of fascinating things. Just hope the sky is clear. There is one field set up just for the pro astronomers. Contrary to what it says elsewhere, all the camp sites are rustic only. There is a water tap and a dump station. It's so dark here they even see the aurora sometimes though I never had such luck.
