For Circle M RV & Camping Resort: We arrived late in the evening and were clueless about how Thousand Trails works. The lady and gentleman at the welcome center were great! Friendly, helpful, funny. They discussed the sites that were available and chose the one they believed was the best for our motor home. He even let us follow him to the site. It was a nice, shady spot with a couple of trees (limbs were a little too low). We had full hookups... great water pressure and strong WiFi. The main reason we chose this campground was for the activities for the kids and they did not disappoint. There is a nice 18 hole mini golf course, completely covered by a pavilion, which was perfect for our rainy stay! We also enjoyed the indoor heated pool and hot tub. Everything we used was clean and well kept. Had it not been raining, there was a golf course, several trails, and a creek we would have explored. The only thing we didn’t like was how unorganized the lots appeared to be and how far our site was from the amenities.

For Circle M RV & Camping Resort: Stephen Starnowski's, Airstream Addicts post 09-14-17: Not directly AS, but I *WAS* towing one!
Circle M discriminates against the LGBT community...
We made reservations at this property for September 14th for three nights. I arrived with our RV ahead of my fiance due to his work schedule. I checked in by myself, everything went fine, the lady behind the counter called for someone to escort me down and find a site. When I mentioned to her that I "may not be able to back in until Gary gets here". She then inquired: "who is he?". When I informed her that we were engaged, and who he was - she shut me down with a curt: "you can't come in here". When I inquired as to why, she told me nothing other than "you need to wait for Gary...you can wait outside or in your truck". I called Thousand Trails 800 number for customer service as did Gary, the customer service agent spoke to a supervisor who in turn didn't see an issue. The customer service agent called Circle M and informed the woman at the front desk there is no issue and that I was permitted to check in. Unfazed the woman at Circle M still refused. After another family finished their check in, I again went inside to speak with the woman, showing her our Insurance and Registration which has both of our names and our mutual address on it. To my shock, her response was: "that stuff means nothing to me, I don't recognize that sort of thing". Saddened and appalled I asked if he could circle the building to leave the property. The woman informed me I would have to make a u-turn in the small parking lot. I responded: "OK, I guess I will leave". Unbelievably, the employee said "good, we don't want your types here anyways".

If this is indicative of Thousand Trails policy, please let us know. I assumed most modern companies had an anti-discrimination policy that includes sexual orientation.

For Circle M RV & Camping Resort: Shabby and overpriced are my description of this park. Many sites are no where near level, many were blocked off because the electricity did not work. Access roads have low hanging tree branches and the facilities for which you pay a $3 "resort fee" are worn, dated and in serious need of repair yet they keep raising their rates despite all of this. Extra charges are also made for WIFI @ $5.95/day which is exorbitant. We would not stay here again. Oh, and don't forget that it is self service for picking out a site and then they'll try and sell you a membership to Thousand Trails!
