For Oil Creek Family Campground: Entrance to Campground is a pave road to a 2 mile ride on gravel to the entrance road to the park that becomes graded rough dirt road. Once in the park all roads are narrow dirt. They have 10 full hook up pull thru sites, in the open on a triangle shape lot, the pull thru sites get shorter the further down the hill you go. We were place at the bottom site and our 42 ft fifth wheel just fit, when disconnected from the truck. Also if it is raining / wet you will need 4 wheel drive to get in / out of the site. The further up the hill , the sites are longer with better drainage. Being at the end we also have electrical issues, never could get better than 108 v on either leg of our 50 amp hook up. The park itself has a lot of room, a nice fence dog park, pool and game room. Kid train runs on weekend throughout the park. There were a lot of kids / family’s there during our week there. Lots of campfires so it does get smokey in the evening. Lot of permanent rv,s with decks on the perimeter of the property.

Christmas
For Oil Creek Family Campground: Enjoyed the park. The prior review is still pretty current. My GPS took us through the state park to the Campground. The state park Road was nicely paved but very narrow with absolutely no shoulder and the pavement has probably a 6†drop and I’m not sure what was below the six inches. I was glad I didn’t meet a RV coming the other way. The paved road to the Campground changes to a gravel road and then a smaller gravel and dirt road into the park. The road was bumpy and probably not helpful to our RV. But once you get into the RV park they had plenty of open grassy areas surround on the perimeter with trees. The swimming pool was nice, and the community room did have pool, table tennis and just outside they had a nice paved basketball court. (They furnished the basketballs.). The Campground was also a very short distance from the Drake Oil Well Museum which I recommend. The staff were helpful and friendly and worked at keeping the park maintained. I didn’t check out all the campsites but mine was a regular 110 outlet. But it was ample to run my Air Conditioner. So if you needed a 30 amp or 50 amp you might want to call ahead and check.

For Oil Creek Family Campground: We stayed in a pull-through site toward the back of the campground (FHU). Nearly all the sites are wooded so lots of shade, definately a kid friendly campground w/ pool, alpacas, great playground, rec hall w/ping-pong & billiards, small camp store. Tons of kids here on our stay, a pleasure to hear them all playing and laughing. I talked to a few campers, and they've been coming back here for years. Gravel sites and roads. Internet is available only at the office and Verizon cell service is sketchy. We stayed in a motorhome and would definately come back again.
