For KOA Holiday Charleston: I’ve been to many KOAs and this by far the worst. I feel like KOA is letting anyone run these things, prices of wood covering the septic hook ups, left over junk from the full timers, untrimmed trees and shrubs, WiFi that is the most irritating I have ever seen. I’m gonna try to to complain to KAO corporate if there is one and unfortunately I just renewed my membership.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: 1 positive star for staff being very friendly, and another positive star for the park beauty/trees. However, the park is located off a major road that has lots of traffic noise day and night. The park is also under the airport flight path. The park is located next to a mobile home park that isn’t very nice. Pull through sites are very close together. Plumbing drain pipes run right next to your neighbor. Just not the outdoor feel I’m looking for. Will not return.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: A good KOA facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to Charleston activities from the campground. We were in a site towards the back of the campground which had a lot of tree cover and gave the campsite a gloomy appearance. I would have no problem returning to this KOA, just a different site

For KOA Holiday Charleston: We stayed for 4 nights 12/29/17-1/2/18 with our 30ft travel trailer and this was our very first campground on our journey. We had site A18 which was a back in site with full hook ups. It was right by the dog park which our lab Bailey loved. Great water pressure, electric etc. Shaded site, friendly staff, and close to the locations we wanted to visit.

For KOA Holiday Charleston: Pretty decent site, but I am still new to the rv'ing. I got the deluxe package with full hook up. Came with full patio, grill, swing, picnic table, and chairs. It was a +$9 up charge but I'm only here for a couple nights. There is a bit of noise at this campgrounds with being close to the highway and airport must be near. I could here them landing but not as often as a large airport. There was a foul smell from septic hoses, but I'm new to this..

For KOA Holiday Charleston: Pretty clean. Evenings load because of emergency vehicles driving to a nearby Hospital. The center lane camping spots are set up in such a way that the sewer drains from you neighboring camp site are next to the picnic tables or next to the front door of your camper. Just that lane. Nice location for easy in and out of Charleston

For KOA Holiday Charleston: There have been a number of improvements to this KOA in the past two years. The internal roads are now paved, new fencing has gone up to hide maintenance areas, a number of patio sites complete with porch style swing have been added, and there is new playground equipment. One of the two loop areas is fairly full with full-time or long-term guests. The second loop area appears to be where shorter term visitors are located. The bathrooms are very nice and the staff is great.
