For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: Nice park, conveniently located to the freeway. The sites are gravel, we have a 45’ motorhome which we did get level with jack pads, we did not have sewer, but some sites do, so we felt it was expensive. Staff were friendly. The carpet golf is getting new paint and carpet.

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: Stayed here several times going to/from Florida. It's a nice park but expensive. Very convenient to the interstate and management is friendly.

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: A pleasant surprise. Less than 5 minutes off I95. Very clean and well managed park. Beautiful location on a large lake. Highly recommend.

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: We were expecting a convenient overnight stay right off the freeway, which it was, but it was so much nicer than expected! It’s on a large lake, with a swimming beach and a really nice playground and game area where our kids loved unwinding after a long day of driving. The whole campground seems to have a lot of shade. We would like to stay for longer next time!

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: Stayed 2/7 and 2/19-20/22 on way to and from Florida. Had reasonably level pull through sites on packed sand/gravel both times near bathhouse. Nice beach area on lake and they have pizza oven and groceries at main office. Wi-Fi is not fastest, but seems to run 10-15 Mbps up/down consistently. Bathhouse is clean, but needs a refit, so 3 instead of 4 stars.

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: Great KOA right by the lake and directly off I95. Staff supper friendly and the place is kept so clean. Only down side is some sites are NOT level. You may want to call to confirm a level spot.

For KOA Journey Santee Lakes: One of the better KOAs we’ve stayed at. We had a great waterfront site with fantastic views. Easy to reach from I-95, The only downside is that many sites are not level. Other than that, it’s a keeper.
