For River Bottom Farms Family Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of River Bottom Farms Campground. The road in is OK, but there is some bumpy gravel road in the park. Camp office and store is nice. Very friendly. There are two sides to the park. One side seems more for permanent residence. Many are looking run down. The other side is for transient RV users. Many are pull thru. Some have grass and some have gravel. All the ones on the side face the playground or pool. There are 8 in the back of the park that I like the most. We had site 4. It had the view of three ponds. Not all sites are level, but many seem to be. Our site was one foot too low in the back. All have pic nik tables and fire ring. The bathhouse is nice. The pool was not open, but I give it a 3 out of 5. They have garbage but no recycle disposal. The sites in the back are shaded. They have Wifi, but it is a little weak.

For River Bottom Farms Family Campground: If I could give it 10 stars I would! Way off the beaten path..but WELL worth the trip!
Park is spotless. Sites are far enough from each other. All hookups worked great .
Spotless pool. I didn’t use bathroom or laundry, but from the rest of it I’m sure it was fine !
The employees were beyond friendly and helpful!
Great areas to walk dogs & fun large dog park ! Give it a try!

For River Bottom Farms Family Campground: Definite Do Over
We stayed at this site for 5.5 months (Sept - Feb) and can't say enough about this location and the owners.
While we did have to get on a waiting list for several months before arriving, the customer service and site have been wonderful.
The campground is 35 minutes South of Columbia, 2 hrs to Charleston, 2 hrs to Augusta, 4 hrs to Atlanta.
Day trip possibilities galore.
The site offers clean bath house, laundry, pool, play ground, trampoline air pillow (monitored), walking trails, and fishing ponds.
The haunted house during October was amazing. Better than any festival experience.
The sites are clean, well spaced, and located around the perimeter of the grounds, so no double stacking.
We defiantly have plans to return and would recommend River Bottoms to anyone.
