For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: We stayed overnight in a 37' 5th wheel. Nice accommodations with shade trees on both sides. Close to Highway 90 so made it easy to get off and on. Bathrooms clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and provided escort to location which was especially nice on this rainy day. Walmart close by to get needed supplies and many restaurant choices. WiFi and cable provided. Great place for an overnight or two.

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: 4 Star rating for Allstays review. Stayed one travel night during travel. Deluxe site with concrete pad and large concrete patio with table chairs and gas grill (no fire ring due to City restrictions). Grounds are nice but right off of I-90 so a bit of road noise but very convenient on/off for travel. Not sure I would make this a “destination” park. Staff was very friendly and helpful with good service. Office had nice stocked store. Bathhouse was well maintained, nice and kept clean. Site had Cable TV but fairly limited number of channels but fine for short stay.

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: We stayed one night just passing through in a 36' Class A with jeep toad. It is very convenient to the freeway if you're GPS finds the right entrance (which ours did not). Wifi was ok but that is a relatively low bar. When I say it is convenient, I mean it is right next to the freeway. The freeway noise is loud from anywhere in the park so definitely don't recommend for light sleepers.

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: We were just passing through, so really only needed a spot to overnight. KOA Journeys are great for that, as they are usually conveniently located off Interstates and are geared more for the overnighters versus KOA Holiday's or KOA Resorts which have more bells and whistles. My rating is given taking this into consideration.

We were in a 25' MH, pulling a toad (42' overall) so asked for a pull thru site with FHU, although we did unhook our Jeep so we could go into town for a nice dinner. We were escorted to our site...always a nice touch. The staff was quite friendly, facilities super clean, and our spacious gravel site was pretty much level and more than adequate for our needs. There are trees scattered around, (but not an issue for our satellite). We didn't have our dogs, but if you do, there is grass along the sites and a nice dog run available. The park wasn't very full when we were there, so it was plenty quiet at bedtime and I didn't hear any road noise (although I'm not a light sleeper). If you have a big rig, you shouldn't have any trouble navigating the interior roads or getting into and out of your site.

The staff member recommended a couple dinner spots and gave us directions to town. They also advised us on the best way out of the park onto the main road, so we would be turning left at a light instead of taking our chances w/o one. If you are passing through the area and are looking for a nice, safe, clean, well-appointed campground, conveniently located off the interstate, I definitely recommend Sioux Falls KOA.

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: We arrived about 6 p.m. And there were several people to greet us. All very helpful. As has been mentioned, the restrooms were spotless. Pool looked great. Campsites were well maintained, if a little narrow. Yes it is on the interstate and would be quite noisy if not for our fan running. Sweet thing - they offer ear plugs upon check in. When you first see the campground it looks a little worn and dusty with few trees. But this is the West and it's dry and hot so don't expect lush vegetation. It is perfect for an overnight stop.

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: Great experience here. Yes, it's right off the freeway and you can hear it but honestly it's just white noise. But the park itself is extremely well maintained and the bathrooms are SPOTLESS. There is a very nice dog area (with grass!) including a well fenced off-leash section. We called ahead from about 100 miles out because we would be arriving late and the woman who took my call could not have been more helpful. Perfect for one night on our way west. We camped at Sioux Falls KOA in a teardrop trailer.

Seminole Navion

For KOA Journey Sioux Falls: No issues at all. Nice sites, great shower house and big laundry. The noise from the highway is a non issue. We were closest to it and didn't bother us with the windows open. In the summer you probably wouldn't hear any with the A/C running. You absolutely need a water pressure regulator as they have high pressure.
