For Beaver Glen - Prince Albert National Park: We were looking for a CG near to the town of Waskesiu Lake and central to hiking/biking in Prince Albert NP. We're self-contained and don't used the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed for a week in late June in our 8 metre (25 foot) MH.
There are 2 CG's across the road from each other. In general, Red Deer has larger, pull-through sites lines up diagonally with full hookups and is a 5 minute walk from the center of the town of Waskesiu Lake. We stayed at Beaver Glen which is a 15 minute walk to the center of town. It's a larger CG with electric only, back-in, wooded sites arrayed in 18 loops. Most sites are shaded and surrounded by trees and greenery providing some privacy. Most are level or need just a bit of leveling. There are water spigots throughout the loops. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have ample hot water and water pressure. There's no wifi. There was good ATT and Verizon cell coverage while roaming on Bell.
The town of Waskesiu Lake is pleasant with shopping, beach, laundry, restaurants, playgrounds, visitor center, museum and nature center. The marina is a short drive from the CG. There are several scenic drives and places to hike or bike in the National Park.

For Beaver Glen - Prince Albert National Park: We are actually at Red Deer Campground, adjacent to Beaver Glen. Large campground in Prince Albert National Park. Has open, partly shaded and treed sites. 30A and 50A power, water hookups, sewer at site. Elecitric hookups were strangely placed in our area. Need an extension or long cord. We doubled up with our neighbours. Ours is a pull through site. Showers and flush toilets centrally located. Picnic tables but no fires allowed except propane. Good hiking and biking trails of varying length. Easy to bike or walk to the terrific little resort town of Waskesiu which has laundry, cafes, store, etc. Town also offers good swimming beach, great playground, nature house, museum, info centre and boat access. Scenic drives in National Park. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely try to get in for a longer stay if we came by this way again. Beaver Glen is more treed with smaller sites, possibly more private but difficult for a larger rig.
