For Standing Stone State Park: We stayed Aug 22-25 in site 4. Only 3 others in campground. Our site was level, but many others are not. Campground is peaceful and quite lovely. Bath house recently renovated and has heat and a/c and a washer dryer. We paddled the lake and walked the trails. All in all a very nice park

For Standing Stone State Park: Beautiful area and park. DO NOT come up on Hwy 136 pulling a trailer or in a long RV because you CANNOT cross the narrow bridge about a mile shy of the park. We stayed in Site 30 which was fine but several sites have steeper entries backing into site. Be sure to go onto nearby Ciena and eat at Ollies. Simple but good especially the catfish

For Standing Stone State Park: We stayed at Standing Stone from June 25-28. We did not use the restrooms for showering or going to the bathroom as we were trying to isolate from others. There was only 1 bar Verizon cell service at our campsite #6. The rangers were very nice. There were a lot of bugs this time of year. I would recommend earlier in the year or in the fall after it has cooled down some.
