For KOA Journey Jonesborough: Five stars for the lower sites near or on the river but only three stars for upper sites near the road. We were on the river and really liked it. Near town and great fresh farm produce down the road when in season. Nice bathhouse and small camp store.

For KOA Journey Jonesborough: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Jonesborough Cherokee KOA. Getting to the campground is all on good roads. The roads in the campground are gravel and in good condition. Trees are all trimmed back so they do not hit the motorhome. The campground registration office was open and everyone were friendly. There is a camp store but it is very limited. Firewood is available and they bring it to your site. There is limited area for parking while checking in. You practically block the entrance. Our site was 34, a back in site with a fire pit and picnic table. Great view of the river. Our site was level. The site was dry but lots of dirt area. I would prefer more gravel. The campground has no seasonal folks. The bath house is nice. Laundry basic looking but nice. There is no pool and no recreational center. There is no restaurant on site, but the campground is close to town. Cable TV service was good. Wifi was OK, but we had to pay extra in order to stream movies. Some road noise from the road across the river.
Our site was long and wide. Lots of room. The grounds were well maintained and looked nice. There is good spacing between each site. All the sites along the river are the best. I like site 32 and 34 the best. We would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For KOA Journey Jonesborough: They were very nice. The bathrooms were very clean. We felt like it was on the expensive side for what you get, and we were there off season. Didn’t seem to have an off season rate break.

For KOA Journey Jonesborough: What a SPECTACULAR campground right on the river. The view is absolutely stunning. The new owners are so sweet and helpful. We have a 45 foot big rig and had tons of space even with 6 people. You can hear the river at night too. It truly is an amazing place to camp! We were in site 34 on the river with only woods beside us and the river out our front door. Plenty of trees and shade on most of the sites. There are about 10 sites right on the river with additional pull thru sites as well. Wonderful place to camp, very family friendly!

For KOA Journey Jonesborough: This is a gem of a park with very large spacious sites along a beautiful river of rushing water. Lots of trees for shade over gravel level sites. More 50 amp sites have been added and a lift station to cure the sewage problems. There are drawbacks if you have a big rig as we do. There are only a few sites with easy access, there are other sites you can get into but it is extremely tight because of the trees. Other drawbacks are WiFi doesn’t cover the entire park also sewer hookups are 3†so if you have a sani-con system it is a 2 person job to dump your tanks. Still loved it there and would definitely go back.
