For Oak Forest RV Park: The newer section of the park is nice the sites are big and roomy and the amenities are nice. However the older sections take away from the overall feel of the park. Our biggest issue with the park is the tree trimming or lack of. We are in a 40ft class A and there are many tree obstacles in the park. We were in site 5 and had to move to site 17, enroute a tree limb scratched the front and top of our coach. Upon pulling out of site 17, we could not exit the park in the natural direction of our site due to low trees, we had to back down 2 aisles to the main entrance with our coach and trailer to safely avoid low trees. This park needs to trim trees in the park prior to inviting in big rigs. I would NOT consider this a big rig friendly park.

For Oak Forest RV Park: My family and I really enjoyed the stay over Memorial Day weekend. Very clean and well kept grounds. We didn’t use any amenities but I saw cleaning teams every day cleaning up common areas. We arrived after office hours and everything we needed was waiting for us in an accessible box at the front office, so that was very convenient. Upon arrival, we noticed a live music band playing near the pool and pavilion area with people that seemed to be enjoying themselves. That along with trees on almost every spot and the nice clean feel just really made for an awesome atmosphere. We will do it again!

For Oak Forest RV Park: Travelling with a child (10 y.o) and a dog. Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Austin.
Location is convenient to most areas of Austin. We found most areas we wanted to go to were about 20-30 mins. away as long as we weren't travelling in rush hour. We went to SoCo, to see the bats, Mueller, Zilker Park. This park was a nice mix of retirees, families with children, visitors and permanent residents, we liked that it was varied. There is an organic farm across the road which has a farm stand and the staff are very nice and friendly.
Facilities were okay. The laundry areas were clean but the change machine was out of change so we were forced to use a credit card. The pools were in need of cleaning, one had the vacuum sitting in it for two days but it didn't look clean. The washroom facilities were clean and well kept but in one the stall doors were installed improperly so they don't close. The dog park area gate was not able to be locked, you could force it closed as it is metal and has warped. The dog area is very small, not really any room to run unless you have a very small dog.
The biggest drawback for us was the location in terms of noise. It sits between three very busy streets and the road traffic noise was pretty much constant at any time of day or night. We had a site right on one of the roads (W03) and there was a lot of traffic up and down the road. In this area there are no fences or other barriers so there is no privacy. The site is also right beside some tiny home models so people were often coming by to view them and walking around which was a bit awkward. If you were to stay here I would avoid sites W01, W02 or W03 for sure.

For Oak Forest RV Park: Used the online form to submit a request for a reservation. After two days with no response, phoned the park. Got their voicemail, waited all day for a callback, received none. Phoned again in the afternoon during their business hours, again just got voicemail. Gave up and went someplace else.

For Oak Forest RV Park: Nice park. Only stayed one night, didn't use any of the facilities, but everything looked nice. Level concrete pads with full hookups. Would stay here again next time we are in Austin.

For Oak Forest RV Park: Nice park. Concrete pads are very narrow and only wide enough for your rig. Nice big field to walk dogs and a fenced dog area as well. Did not use any facilities, but looked nice. A bit of a drive into Austin, but all 4 lane highways in. Easy check in.
