This is a HUGE RV park. About 98% of the sites are permanent or long term residents. We called the day before arrival and reservations were quick and easy. Roads and sites are gravel. Our site was close to the entrance, level and full hookups. We did not use them but there are bath houses and a pool. The park easy access to the interstate but no road noise with the area we were in. With Good Sam’s discount- $45. Would stay again.

We used to stay here regularly but they’ve changed the game plan. No longer do they hold easy-to-park sites open for short term visitors. All sites are rented monthly and they put overnighted in any that might be open. Last times we stayed, we had to drive over landscape timbers and mud holes to get parked. Standing water and fire ant hills are a continuing problem when some Amdro and a little gravel would take care of it. It still has level sites, friendly folks, and good utilities but we’ve moved on.

Very pleased with our stay here at Houston West. We were here for a week and a half. The staff was very accommodating, The park is very clean and well maintained. Very close to I-10 and near Katy where our family lives. We will be staying here again in the very near future. We have a 35 foot motorhome and had nice spot with full hookups.

Older, well maintained park with ongoing improvements, including upgrading/updating park Wi-Fi systems. Friendly managers and crew. Some traffic noise, but not overwhelming. Great location for short or long term stays if visiting area attractions or day tripping to outlying locations. Would stay here again and recommend to other travellers.

We stopped here unplanned in 11/2017. It turned out to be a good find in the area. It's an old KAO with updated facilities. It's mostly long-term residents but they are friendly to the passers-through. It has a really nice pool and outdoor hot-tub, small but decent playground and a pond with a small trail.
We went back for a week in 11/2018 at a very good rate. The staff was still friendly and the new facilities well-maintained.
The roads are rough and gravely but the sites are level. There can be lots of standing water when it rains.
The cell service is good:
Verizon, 4 bars, 20Mbps
AT&T: 4 bars, 30Mbps

We are first time RV peeps - traveling cross country with my pops RV. This place was very friendly and nice facilities- even a stainless steel dog washing station. Having a clean shower area means allot to me and they delivered here. Unlike other places we’ve stayed so close to the interstate. We overnighted so brief stay but fit the bill perfectly for our needs.

Very noisy site . Close to a major highway and train track.

Good place for a one night stay while on the road. Water and electric hookups were far apart and the pull through sites make for difficult hook up if your connections are near the end of your rig (like they are in our trailer) but still a good park for a stop over.

Great place. Clean facilities, friendly and efficient staff. Wish they had more trees especially when it's 102. Will stay here again.

Really nice and relaxing place. They have a nice pond. Staff is great & friendly. People living there were friendly as well. Feels like a close community. Definitely recommend this place to stay at even for overnight.
