For Texas 281 RV Park: We stay at Texas 281 RV Park every year while in San Antonio for the holidays. The parks location is great. Just outside the San Antonio traffic. Near an HEB, Walgreens, CVS and Walmart. The park has mostly paved sites but some gravel. The park does have many permanent residents but there are lots of nightly, weekly and monthly spots. The owner is a SUPER nice guy. The rates are also very reasonable. This is not a resort. No pools. No golf. Just quiet comfortable RV spots with easy access to San Antonio.

For Texas 281 RV Park: Nice little park seemed like mostly full timers- check in folks were pretty friendly but overall people keep to their selves. I guess this is a good thing if you don’t want to be social. Lots of trees. Our spot was too small to even let our awning out but it didn’t matter because it rained the whole time. Overall just ok.

For Texas 281 RV Park: Lots of mobile homes and long term residents who tended to be pretty nosy. The owners bordered on harassment when there was some dog poop on our grass that hadn't been picked up (which was a corner site where everyone walked their dogs). When we asked to extend our stay they said someone was coming into our site and would not let us move to an alternate site even though we heard them say that several were available. Park is on a highway so pulling out with the rig was a bit daunting as cars were coming down the road going 65 mph. Not really worth the $38/night. Their saving grace was the younger office fellow that checked us in and helped us park. He was great!
