For Texas Log Cabin RV Park: The park is owned by a widow who takes obvious pride in it and is friendly and helpful. She can even tell you the water pressure from her artesian well. The sites and roadways are small river stones, and flat. Didn't use the internet because you have to pay extra, but the cell service was a bit sketchy at times and my hot spot didn't always work well. The laundry was closed due to recent storm damage xxxx take a peek inside and describe xxxx. The in and out of the park can be challenging; the park is marked only by Texas Spinners on either side of the driveway. The driveway is a sharp 90º turn onto a narrow road, with ditches on both sides, off a highway where the posted speed limit is 70 mph. If you're headed North and pull over to the breakdown lane you won't make the turn. They do not accept credit cards; payment is either cash or check. Once inside they will lead you to your site. There is some highway noise.

For Texas Log Cabin RV Park: Definitely a disappointment...... Almost never located it due to extremely poor signage...... Drove past it and had to drive an additional 4 miles in order to find a place that would allow me to turn my rig around.....
Campground could definitely use some "tweaking" in my opinion - neighbor has laundry out on a clothesline for crying out loud..... Numerous RV's that "have seen better days" are set up.... As full-timers we've seen all sorts of CG's in all shape and sizes as well as all conditions....
Granted, Passport America is allowed but if not I'd be paying $40.00 a night which would be WAY to much....I absolutely expect more from a CG for $40.00 a night than I see here.... We've stayed in CG's that charged a lot less that offered A LOT MORE..... In addition, the Internet they advertise as available isn't really available unless you're willing to pay $5.00 a night extra..... DON'T ADVERTISE YOU OFFER IT IF YOU REALLY DON'T...... Really don't like being misled.......irritates me to no end to not be able to connect to Internet. Of course you don't discover this until you've finished setting up your rig and finally go inside and sit down.....

For Texas Log Cabin RV Park: Not really worth the price. Would be good at lower rate. Hard to spot so look closely. Roads have trees so use caution.
