For Palo Duro RV Park: Clean, convenient, helpful friendly staff. Great for an overnight stop on semiannual Austin to Denver camper trip to see grandkids. Will definitely use again and again. Most stops are pull through. Stayed here with a 5th wheel.

For Palo Duro RV Park: A gravel parking lot, a few trees, shared utilities, so we open our door to neighbors, a shared table between. The laundry had 3 washers, 2 out of 4 dryers, but a stack of 2 dryers wouldn’t accept coins, no ‘out of order’ notice, so it was a surprise, we took our wet laundry into the laundromat in town to dry. However, proximity to town and Palo Duro Canyon are the best features.

For Palo Duro RV Park: I wouldn’t stay here again. The sites are very close and there was dog poop everywhere, like a mine field of poop. We took our laundry to a laundromat because there were only two washers available. Two stars from location, because you may have difficulty getting a spot in the canyon, in which case, you may want to park here and drive in as we did.

For Palo Duro RV Park: We weren’t able to camp in Palo Duro Canyon, so we stayed here for 2 nights, on a weekend in late October, in a 24 foot travel trailer. The woman who checked us in, Diana, was very helpful in offering us suggestions about what to see and where to eat. She gave us a decent site, next to a very sweet resident. They were resurfacing sites, so not many were available. At this time of year, the grass was almost non-existent, and very few trees. Definitely not park-like! Be sure to pull up to the top of your site if you want to have water and use the sewer hookup. “Our table†was shared with our neighbor. Thank goodness, she was a gem! The showers and toilets were very run down, but the water was hot. The laundry had 4 working washers, and 2 working dryers, and was busy all the time! This place is about 10 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon, and 10 minutes from Canyon, where you can get anything you need. It’s close to 2 busy roads, but in the wee hours, it finally quiets down. I probably would not stay here again.

For Palo Duro RV Park: Very nice park with lots of trees and grass. The owners and the residents are all very friendly. The park is right off the highway so it is easy to get to and very convenient. It's far enough from the highway that you can't hear the traffic. The sites are fairly wide and level with hard packed gravel. There are lots of large grassy areas to walk your dog and many people had dogs and were walking them around. All very friendly too. Even though there was no playground or pool, the kids really enjoyed it due to the great outdoors. Also, there are not a ton of rules that make you uptight, it's just relaxed.
We found the atmosphere to be very relaxing and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

For Palo Duro RV Park: I've stayed there several times and I like it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's just down the road from Palo Duro Canyon and Panhandle Plains Museum, both of which are worth visiting. Level spaces, WiFi is strong if you are near the club house but weak in other areas of the park. I don't know why someone would be disappointed in this park but it certainly doesn't deserve a poor rating. It's an RV park, not the Ritz.

For Palo Duro RV Park: More of a mobile home park than an rv park. We found it depressing.
