Al Grubb

For City Fair Park - Childress: One of the nicer city parks we’ve been to with 30/50 amp service and water for $15 . Ponds , bike, hike, and walking trails. Lots of ducks and geese. Great playground. There are only 5 spots and they are beside the baseball field. Could watch a girls softball game from our coach . Fairly level . Not real private though. We drive a 40ft motorhome and easily baked into a space and had room for our tow. Walked and biked the trails.

Drfife

For City Fair Park - Childress: Childress, TX city park. Clean and quiet park. $15 per night honor system (put your $15 in a locked box). Water and 30/50 amp electric. No dump station. 5 sites in a parking lot in between the baseball field and pond. Walking trail around pond. Basketball court, playground, and city pool nearby. Maximum stay of 3 nights. Big rig friendly. We have a 40 foot 5th wheel and fit just fine. Would stay here again when passing through.

TX18ft

For City Fair Park - Childress: We stopped while passing through to our destination and needed an overnight spot to rest. Self pay, felt safe and some lighting from the park area. Good 50 amp electrical connections. Kids had a blast using the older playground in the morning. It's older but city seems welcoming to RVers.

Back in grass sites were fairly level and had picnic tables.

Rating is because site is basic but for $15 and electricity you can't beat. If you are an RV resort type person you will want to pass.......but if you don't mind it will work for you.

Annette

For City Fair Park - Childress: Perfect stop for the night! Quiet even on a Friday nite. Nicely patrolled by police. Lovely view of a little lake and level sites.
Can't beat it!

Charlie/Ginger

For City Fair Park - Childress: Nice city park. 5 Sites are very close together, but good water and electricity. And picnic tables. Walking trail and view of a small lake. Very quiet and away from the highway. $15 with hookups is a deal!

Marwin

For City Fair Park - Childress: I will st as y here again. $15 on the honor system. Sites are close togeather. I don't think a 40 ft will fit. I have a 25 ft view and no problem. There Is A Lake You Walk around. No baths or showers. The place is clean.
