For Fort Bliss RV Park: National Park card discount $19/night. DO NOT put out your Awning, questionable putting out slides with awnings on the wind side. If they assign you against the south wall or west row, you may want to find somewhere else if you aren’t in an Airstream. Laundry is $1.50 wash $1 to dry, and oversized available. Facilites are nicer. Slabs are not Level fwd to aft (41). I actually gorilla taped a vent cover before the wind ripped a hole in my roof. As I lie here in my 32’ Class C I feel as though I’m back on the ship in high sea states. I am not sure if this wind is typical for the area, but I question why my weather app hasn’t alerted me of a tornado watch or high winds. The placed looks “trashed” because the wind just blows trash all around the city. The PX is a shopping mall with a BWWs, movie theater and Texas Roadhouse. The exposure to these winds are my negative driving review. They should build a barrier wall on the west and south.

For Fort Bliss RV Park: It’s really 3-4 stars. The rv park is not technically on base, therefor it’s not secure. Ita right by a busy highway & next to a high school, so there is noise & foot traffic. Very friendly staff. It’s first come first serve, but it seems people are always in & out. There are perm residents that have junk all around their rv’s. Laundry & bathrooms are good. Dog lot has 3 separate sections but the lighting at night is very poor. The spots are long & wide. Your close enough to base & stuff in town. The winds are brutal sometimes & El Paso is dirty, in my opinion. It suited our needs but we will probably not go back

For Fort Bliss RV Park: It looked like a nice camp ground …I made several phone calls to try to make a reservation but they would not take one. I was told to call back on Friday to check on availability for Sunday night. I was told there would be spots available but they still would not take a reservation ??? After driving 11hours we pulled in about 5 PM and was told they were all full. I could be put on a waiting list but we would be number 5 on the list. Need reservations!!

For Fort Bliss RV Park: By far the nicest park and staff we have encountered. The sites are long and wide giving you plenty of room for all your accessories. We stayed in site 13 in a 32 ft Class A Motorhome pulling a Jeep. We had plenty of room! The park is well maintained and looks brand new. The very large laundry room has 6 washers and dryers with a large work surface for folding laundry. They also have a large rack for hanging your clothes. There is a large grassy area for the kids to play. We enjoyed watching them! We paid $133 for the week - senior pass discount rate. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the area and shared local information and directions with us. You should not miss the exchange and commissary. In addition to the traditional PX and Commissary there is a Town Center with many shops and restaurants. This is by far the best...simply over the top! We would stay there again next time we are in the area.

Jack Slade

For Fort Bliss RV Park: First time I have ever felt compelled to give a review but this place well deserves it. RV pads are nice concrete, roads all pavement. Staff is friendly. Rules are strict and totally unenforced. Many RVs have been here long term and look like absolute dumping grounds, a literal pig sty. Traffic noise from the freeway is unbearable. Loud music at night by undiciplined people. No wifi within the park. My opinion, this is the worst RV park I have ever stayed at and I am leaving before my money expires, not worth it. Very sad this place is on military property, it put a real bad taste in my mouth for Ft. Bliss. This place is a stain on all military RV parks. Never again. Has our military sunk to this level. An absolute disgrace. Jack Slade, Vietnam, 68/69, Doc 173rd Airborne. 100% service disabled.

For Fort Bliss RV Park: This place is great and the scenery is beautiful! All full hook up in at a discounted rate with in America the beautiful card, 19 bucks a night! It was cold and very windy. Laundry is always a plus and they do have a dump station at the entrance. The managers are super nice and it is first come first serve, so best arrive at checkout which is 1 o’clock.

Drew

For Fort Bliss RV Park: As of 5 Jan 2020, the park installed separate fenced in dog runs for large and small breeds. Also created a picnic area for large groups. Still lacks shade trees so be prepared for sun and heat from late April through October. sites are still first come first serve and bathhouses are still nice and well kept. Need to be checked in by 4pm since the full time staff leaves at 4pm. The do accept America the Beautiful National Park pass, Active Reserve and Retired Military. I believe civilians on a space available. Friendly staff and the Military Police also patrols the park. Easy access to TX-54. Military Shoppette is across the street with gas and diesel. Rates went up to $20 as of 1 Jan 2020. The reason for 4 stars is MWR seems to let the dumpsters get full- must be on a weekly emptying schedule. Also, the Sergeants Major Academy is at FT Bliss so the do have a lot of students that stay there for the year long course and they allow outside furniture thus some of the sites can look a little bad and not like a resort, but it doesn’t advertise a resort like feeling so you know that going in. It a huge campground and they do a good job keeping it clean and inviting.
