E and R full Timers
For Braunig Lake RV Resort: Beware of this rv Park. Called month ahead to check availability and rates as their website only gives you some info, but not the rates or contact info except phone number. I said we only need 6 nights but if weekly rate is better we do that and just leave day early. Only price on website I could find was monthly from $500-625. Guy said 6 nights we needed would be $174, I agreed, surprised when he didn’t want card or partial payment. If you’ve ever bought a car, that was us upon arrival, guy says $198, I replied no I had $174 quote, but only phone call. Guy continues that your in place that is twice that, but says they inadvertently gave me the “discount “ at
$198 and it should be double that since I don’t have passport America. I say I don’t want the penthouse or lake front but just safe place to park and plug in our Rv. We were close to leaving but didn’t have reservation till next place so reluctantly we took the “special†at $198. The place is okay and would stay again, but never never never without having someone send me text or email to confirm the cost. Guy was talking like salesman walking out of car dealership, wait I got this one site just opened today! Okay place but definitely buyer beware. See if you can get rates or email thru company website? Beware please. Lots of full timers but park had plenty of sites, probably 2/3 full.

For Braunig Lake RV Resort: Nice campground. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tons of full timers but most rigs are well maintained. Transient sites are very close together. Expensive for what you get but if you have passport America it is reasonable

The Cramblersons
For Braunig Lake RV Resort: Convenient to San Antonio for day trips but not much close by for conveniences. Lots of full-time or extended stay residents eating up the larger sites. Nightly sites in row M are VERY close together. Had to be careful putting out the awning not to hit the neighbor's slide out. Staff was kind enough to accommodate a move to a monthly site in row N since we were staying for a full week.
I think they use the term "Resort" liberally here.
Good for short stay.
We stayed in a 40' 5th wheel.

For Braunig Lake RV Resort: Nice park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry was clean. Next to an industrial site and some road and railroad noise. Close to San Antonio. We stayed with Passport America in a travel trailer. Verizon phone coverage was decent. CableTV.
