We stayed in full-hookup back in site #B24 for two weeks. The site was secluded but not very level. Loved the tree shade and proximity to the lodge & laundry building. B section is also close to the lake. Campground staff members Julie and Natalie were absolutely fantastic. Everyone that we interacted with was kind and helpful. Lodge and laundry are both open until 8:00pm. Machines were in good shape and the price was reasonable at only $1.75 to wash and $1.50 to dry. The welcome center has quarter rolls available for purchase. We also checked out some clubs to play putt-putt golf and it was a lot of fun. No wifi currently available in the park but cell service was decent. My AT&T phone had 2 weak bars and my wife's Verizon phone also had 2 bars. We were also able to program all of the major networks (ABC, NBC etc.) as over-the-air TV channels. Sadly we suffered a sugar ant infestation during our stay. Make sure to spread Over 'n Out ant killing powder around the perimeter of your rig. We forgot to do this and ended up paying the price.

Nice campground. Good amenities but a little dated. Would recommend. Lots of full timers with really nice spots taken.

Pretty typical for a Thousand Trails membership campground - dated and in need of maintenance. Bathrooms are just ok but acceptable. Seems like there's a lot of permanent/long-term residents but still plenty of open sites available. At the time of this writing one of the swimming pools looks like a dirty swamp, although that could be due to a temporary power outage in some areas of the park. Easy lake access if you have a boat. The park is situated in a pretty rural area so there's not much dining or shopping around (the nearest Walmart is 30 miles away), but it's pretty peaceful if you're looking to get away from busy urban areas. Grayson county is a mixed wet/dry county so if you like beer or wine you're not going to find anything near the campground. However if you go north on 377 for 5-6 miles there's a convenience store a mile or two across the Oklahoma state line that sells beer. Oh and the mosquitoes are relentless so bring bug spray!

Clean, large percentage of long term campers - felt a bit out of place as a weekender.
